ABOUT Ishmael von Heidrick-Barnes ...

Ishmael von Heidrick-Barnes was born in San Diego, California. He began writing at age eleven, publishing the first of many poems while in high school. He holds degrees in Religion and Theology as well as Surgical Technology. In addition to writing poetry, Ish has co-edited the Magee Park Poets anthology, written lyrics for European opera singer Andrea Hörkens and musician Thomas Roderburg, and has worked as a visual artist.
