Miss Plastique ~ POEMS BY LYNN LEVIN
Miss Plastique, the fourth full-length poetry collection by Lynn Levin, invites the reader into a world of female bravado in which Miss Plastique and her many selves rant, fret, joke, fall in love, dress up, and do their hair. A poet known for her eclecticism, humor, and range of poetic styles, Levin is also a writer and literary translator. She teaches at Drexel University and the University of Pennsylvania.

Sam Hamod is a contemporary poet of Arab American descent. Since the 1960s, he has published poetry about his country of origin, Lebanon, as well as the Middle East in general. Nominated for the Pulitzer Prize for Poetry, he has published ten books and has appeared in more than 200 anthologies of literature worldwide (“Window into Palestine”), Unsettling America serving as only one example.
Tender Art is a duo consisting of soprano Andrea Hörkens and her partner Thomas Roderburg who accompanies her on guitar. Tender Art was created out of Andrea and Thomas's desire to make music together. They were inspired by the lyrics of Ishmael von Heidrick-Barnes.

MEMENTO TSUNAMI, Vasiliki Katsarou’s first collection of poetry, will be published by Ragged Sky Press in Fall 2011. MEMENTO TSUNAMI is a collection marked by startling abstract and lyrical poems that draw from a wide variety of cultural influences. These include her Greek heritage, background in European filmmaking, as well as a childhood among the ghosts of New England Transcendentalism. Katsarou’s work reflects a nostalgia for origins as well as a 21st-century visionary impulse to reconcile disparate worlds.

PRINCETON SERIES OF CONTEMPORARY POETS
Paul Muldoon, the New Yorker poetry editor, Pulitzer Prize winner, and Eating Her Wedding Dress contributor, has relaunched the Princeton Series of Contemporary Poets. This series of publications produced by Princeton University Press was started in 1975 and has included works by Susan Stewart, Robert Pinsky, Ann Lauterbach, Jorie Graham (another EHWD poet) and Jay Wright.
As editor of the series, Muldoon has chosen to relaunch with The Eternal City: Poems by Kathleen Graber.

WORKSHOP WITH DIANE LOCKWARD
Spring Poetry Awakening, to be held Sunday, April 18, will feature a workshop with the witty Eating Her Wedding Dress poet, Diane Lockward, at 12:30 p.m. The one-and-a-half-hour workshop, open to anyone with a pen and a notebook, will be followed by a reading at 3 p.m. by Ms. Lockward and Jake Willard-Crist, current Poet-in-Residence at the Presbyterian Church of Lawrenceville. As usual, there will be an open mike for poets eager to share their work.
The workshop will be held at Grover’s Mill Coffee, 295 Princeton-Hightstown Road (McCaffrey’s Shopping Center), West Windsor, and the reading will be held at the West Windsor Branch of the Mercer County Library, 333 North Post Road, West Windsor. The cost to attend the workshop is $20, $15 WWAC members. The poetry reading is free. It's back! October 7–10, 2010, in Newark, New Jersey.
As many of you know, the 2010 Dodge Poetry Festival had been canceled due to a "a dramatic decline in the Foundation's assets" and the cost of upgrading a resourceless Waterloo Village.
